“I loved it. A lot of Dresden type action, plots and subplots, twist and turns. The old Harry is back. Can't wait to see what happens next.”

It is not exactly the same formula, as Butcher makes sure that all the changes wrought in the last two novels really matter, but it's quite familiar.
I loved how the ongoing meta-plot was fleshed out with plenty of material that lets previous novels in the series appear in an altogether new light.”
“Butcher is one of the great masters of fantasy literature. The intricate (incredibly, massively intricate) world he has created continues even after Dresden's death and resurrection. Nice plot twist, but I have to agree with a lot of other readers. The last book really went too far afield. Good to see him bringing it back in line with what the reader expects and loves about Harry Dresden, Wizard at Large.”

I am glad I have never been disappointed. This whole series sucks you in iwth its amazing characters and plot. Having read this series since it started, I have to say, with all sincerity, it is my favorite series of all time! If you read this, Jim Butcher, I take my hat off to your skills as a storyteller. In fact I would take off 500 hats to you!! Too bad I can only give it 5 stars. ”

Harry's world changed when he became the Winter Knight, but that appears was only the tip df the iceberg.”
