“Hard to decide whether it was really good or not. I have very mixed feelings, especially about the end. Not one of my favorite Harry Hole books.”

“EXCELLENT* SPOILER* Harry Hole ex-police, tries to save his step son from murder rap. Drug Violin, Norway, Russian gangsters, lots of action. Leaves impression that Harry is dead at the end.”

Yes | No“This is not a book to read in small bunches -- which I did (2-3 pages at a time) because of a heavy knitting schedule for holiday gifts. I had trouble keeping track of characters and plot due to my piecemeal approach. I think I would have liked it a lot if I had read it with my usual speed, and may reread it in the future. Have enjoyed other books by this author. ”
