I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!! The romance is gripping, and the musical aspect engaged me. Definitely a must-read (and a must-have). Deb Caletti is a great author.

A great story of defying true emotions. Cassie tries to run away from Ian only to find herself stuck in a situation in choosing what is right for her and what is right for others. A classic tale with a modern narrative that takes on a new form of young love.

I liked it, but this was not Deb Caletti's best. Cassie was a cool character. I loved her analysis of how even the geniuses, people who are defined as brilliant now, were actually slightly psychotic. I really hated Dino at first, than pitied him slightly after finding out the truth. He made me nervous most of the book, I thought he was going to become abusive. I liked the parts with Bunny and Chuck, because I really thought they brought some humor into an otherwise serious book. Her description of divorce was spot-on. The main thing I disliked was Dino, he was such a cruel person that it made it hard for me to understand him. The ending was a little open, but overall, it was a pretty good book.

I liked this book although it wasn't as good as some of the other novels she's written. I didn't think it was as interesting as it first seemed to me.
