Loved it! Took a little while for it to develop, but the author wrote this book in a way
that I had never seen before! From "death's" perspective.

I need to think about this book. I think it was deeper than I am - ha. I know I missed alot of the symbolism, etc. Can't wait to discuss it. The Book Thief should be read in the classroom. High schoolers would love it.

an amazing book!!! I've read it several times, but each time, it continues to catch me off guard. this is the only one of Marcus Zusaks books i could handle...his other one was a bit rieque....however, this does need to be read with tissues!!

LOVED THIS BOOK. The narrative style was really interesting and different and the characters totally grabbed me. Super sad of course, but really moving too. Death as a compassionate, omniscient narrator was really cool. Great read!
