“Amazing book, set in Germany when Hitler was in power- it is a story of survival of the fittest but also secrets and overwhelming love!
There is a young girl called Liesel who adores books- (Like me too.) she steals books getting into all sorts of trouble on the way. As Jews are hated in Germany and taken to concentration camps to die there- Liesel meets a jew who comes to her home looking to goi into hiding however the jew gets seen and gets taken away....................
This book is fantastic in every way- i cried on this line- 2 ”
