Neat book for the modern generation, though it gets annoying when people compare this to Catcher in the Rye. The two are hardly similar. Anyway, I read this so easily until the end where I kinda missed that part about his aunt. Glad to see I wasn't the only one who did this...

I related to the main character in this book extremely well. It made me feel nostalgic for my teenage years. Though the wallflower is well loved, it is true that his or her desires may never be fully realized.

I've read it and I didn't particularly love it. I didn't think I could relate to him... Still it was well written and very interesting.

If you grew up in the late 80's early 90's, if you ever saw the Rocky Horrow Picture Show, if you ever felt a little out of touch with "the populars", if you ever thought growing up if a difficult process, then this book is for you. It's edgy but truthful. I loved it and my high school sophomores love it too!
