“I struggle with wanting to shake these Rock Chicks into some form of common sense to hoping they will pull out another dumb move. They have this 'dragon' who is breathing fire down on them and will burn them and maybe everyone they love if they don't stay under the protective Alpha man shield. What do they do ? They squirm under the edge of the shield and boldly go where no sane person would go. Chaos happens, blood is shed, and somehow it always comes out okay. Yes, it is dumb, and yet it works so well in these stories. They are ridiculously fun, sexy and endearing. These are good people, honest, loving, pig headed, silly, and loyal to the end.
Have some fun with the Rock chicks”

“OMG very girl has struggled with there weight and Ava is no exception. Strong and sassy but has not always been like this. Could not help but love Ava and I was rooting for her and Luke from the start. Have to say I lost the bet of when they would do it lol. Great installment of the rock chicks”Belle wrote this review Wednesday, July 10, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“Contains spoilers…This plot line, to me, has more twist and turns in it than the other Rock Chick books, heck, it might have more if you added them all up. Rock Chick Revenge kept me highly satisfied with all the action, the drama, the miscommunication, and the love. KA is awing me with her ability to write such awesome books. She keeps getting better and better as time goes on and I just get sucked in to all of it. I don’t think I noticed that life was happening around me while I was reading this book. Brilliant!
I would like to say that Luke has lived up to all I have ever dreamed of and more! You get a taste of him in Rock Chick Renegade but you get ALL of him in this book. He is a man’s man! Everything about him brought me chills. When he first finds out Ava is in trouble, he takes action to fix it because he swears nothing is going to hurt her. However, when she does get hurt, he goes so far off the wall that I can only label it as hot! Everything about him is hot. When they fight, he’s hot. When they go at each other, he’s hot. And when someone touches her, he’s pissed, which makes him hot. He is by far my favorite in the Hot Guy group (if you couldn’t tell from my praises above.)
I also enjoyed Ava’s character. She has been in love with Luke since she was 8 years old and lost touch with him while battled her weight problems. But when she walks back into Luke’s life, it is like she lite a fire in his soul. There is something about them that just burns so brightly.
If I could book one KA book and turn it into a movie, so far, this would be the one; that is how fantastic it is.

“I am running out of compliments to give to KA's books. If you enjoy romance, with a jolt of sex, alpha males, humour, friendships plus much more then these books are for you. You are missing good reads if you don't read her books.
Back Cover Blurb:
Ava hates men, she has reason and she's vowed not only never to get involved with another one again but also to exact vengeance on her best friend's lying, cheating husband. Since Luke, Ava's childhood crush, is now a private investigator, she thinks to enlist him but changes her mind at the last second.
Too late, Luke knows she's up to something and he's already seen many a Rock Chick try to fight her own battles without the Hot Bunch stepping in. He's having none of it. She's having none of him. The clash of Rock Chick and Hot Guy begins but Luke's got the advantage. He has handcuffs and he's not afraid to use them.”

Ava walks into Nightingale Investigation for two reasons, (1) looking for help in nailing her best friends dirty cheating husband (2) to see Lucas Stark again, the man she has been in love with since she was a child but hasn't seen in six years, and in those six years she has made a massive ugly duckling transformation. But Ava hates men, after a lifetime of men treating her like crap she wants nothing to do with them, even Luke. But as the danger escalates and Ava gets shot at and kidnapped Luke is having none of it, Ava belongs to him and everyone seems to know it but her.
I cannot beeeeelieve it (yes I can channeling Victor Meldrew) my Luke has been taken from me! I need a minutes silence to help me digest this *holds silence*.....nope still upset. Good job I still have Hector.
I love an Ugly Duckling story, and although we didn't see the transformation, we just saw her six years later all hot and sexy I still felt she was in her old mind set thinking of herself as "Fatty Fatty Four Eyes" and it was sweet to watch Luke make her feel beautiful. What I love about the Hot Bunch is their persistance in the face of the Rock Chicks resistance and Luke was no different and I loved his way of getting to Ava, handcuffs and punishment are apparently very effective tools, the other men left in the Hot Bunch should make note of this.
Another great book in the series, like the others it was funny, zany and just a little bit crazy packed full of characters you won't forget.
