OK, I am a Carl Hiaasen slut. I love his wit, and story lines are LOL for me. It is sick, and fast, and unbelievable...but yet he is so convincing...a real hoot!

Have your read Hoot by this author? This is a similar plot; enviromentalists vs developers but this is the ADULT version; sex and language! However, it was an entertaining read and it makes you realize that high rollers can be bizarre - a hobby of the evil lobbyist is big game hunting, but he does it locally with animals that are collected and set up on a preserve for him to shot. Weird / funny / ha ha. But then that describes many of Hiaasen's books. FIC HIA
