I wanted to give this more stars because I wanted to like it but I just couldn't I found all the characters lacking any real depth and despite reading the entire story I found myself thinking I just wasted a few hours. I just didn't care what happens to these characters. The only good stuff...

It's entertaining but really Carl Hiaasen seems to write the same novel over and over again.

Fast, funny and satisfying. Every mother who has worried about bringing a child into an imperfect world will love this book!

This is a really funny book about a weird lady and her son who live in Florida. The mother gets revenge on a rude telemarketer by taking him into the Everglades. Other quirky characters include a Seminole Indian who covers up an accidental death by a tourist, and a drunken college girl who falls for him. Jason Robtoy

This book is very funny and has a lot of twisted parts to it that shocked me. I didn't like way he wrote the book because at times it turned me off.

I wanted to give this more stars because I wanted to like it but I just couldn't I found all the characters lacking any real depth and despite reading the entire story I found myself thinking I just wasted a few hours. I just didn't care what happens to these characters. The only good stuff going for it is all the mental hangups the characters have and that's it.

If you have ever wanted to get back at irritating, intrusive telemarketers, this book will do it for you. Absolutely unbelievable, but quite funny.
