I wish that all middle schoolers would read it so they can get a feel for how different life is in other countries. I adored the main character in this book, as I'm sure anyone who reads it will too. This is also an excellent book for adults!”

Students will enjoy this novel because it realistically tells of a struggle between self and duty. There is what one wants to do and what one is expected to do.”
