I absolutely love her books! She really grabs your attention and makes you feel the characters. It's a wonderful love story, and one that we would all love to live.

Interesting series. Definitely risqué, exploring world of BDSM. Hits all the chick highs....wealth, power, control. Ought read this kind of book every once in awhile. James tends to overuse certain verbs, but, hey, it's a lust novel!

The love between Ana and Christian is sorely tested in this second installment. Between crazy ex's and those who would take their happiness from them or their lives, Ana and Christian remain committed to each other. I enjoyed this second book more than the first because Christian and Ana open up and begin to really communicate with each other. Ana begins to understand Christian and to love him even more. I am beginning the third novel in this series right after I post this review.

Better than the first, but my suspicions came to life. It is definitely a saving the man story...

In this book Ana and Christian, after having broken up, get back together. Christian is very upset by the fact that Ana lost so much weight and was not taking care of herself. Ana decided that the pain of being without Christian is worse than the pain/pleasure she endures in the "playroom". Christians ex baggage tries to kill her and her new boss keeps hitting on her........Both of them are insecure about themselves... I enjoy their email banters back and forth...

    Fifty Shades Darker
I smiled and laughed throughout this entire book. The dialogue of quick wit and innuendos is very entertaining. I enjoy books that have a lot of dialogue more so than books that are descriptive. The story is from Ana's POV, but it doesn't feel as if she is telling it to you, more like you are thinking and feeling it with her. I don't know if because I had read Grey first and so I was more prepared for the "naughty" context but Darker didn't seem as hardcore to me. Yes there was plenty of "naughty" going on, but it wasn't as distasteful. Perhaps Ana is the reason for that hmmmm...
