“A good introductory book but I was expecting a little more from her in this series. The romantic plot was extremely predictable and although it had a lot to say about scapegoating and plague this book could have been more then what it was given when the author is. I look forward to the next ones because I find the Death and Peace Lilies fascinating, also the political intrigue should pick up and that is an area Maria specializes in. ”
