He himself worked for Child Protective Services in San Francisco and literally saved the lives of Tamara and Mickey Dade when their mother, dying of an overdose, had left them locked inside their apartment.
Kevin Carson: Wyatt Hunt's biological father, twice tried and twice acquitted for the murder of his wife Margie Carson.
Susan Wells Page: Mother of Margie Page, who married Kevin Carson and gave birth to a son who was three years old when she was murdered. Susan is now 76 and lives in an assisted living facility called Indy-Gardens in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Gina Roake: A San Francisco attorney who for a time was Wyatt Hunt's girlfriend.
Ivan Orloff: An investigator and former San Francisco police officer who works for Wyatt Hunt. He is in his early thirties.
Tamara "Tam" Dade: Wyatt Hunt's receptionist/secretary/assistant at the Hunt Club. She is Mickey Dade's sister.
Mickey Dade: An employee of the Hunt Club, he is Tamara Dade's younger brother.
Robert "Bob" Hunt: Wyatt Hunt's adoptive father, a retired clinical psychologist. Their family home is Belmont.
Dodie Spencer: Wife or Lance Spencer, she is beautiful woman of 42 years of age and is a member of the Membership Committee of the Mission Club.
Lance Spencer: Lionel Spencer's brother, he is the CEO of Execujet, an executive airplane leasing company. His wife is Dodie Spencer.
Lynn Sheppard: A newspaperwoman with "The Indianapolis Star". She is about sixty years old.
Taylor: Butler at San Francisco's Mission Club, located in the Kearny Mansion near Nob Hill.
Deborah Hatcher: Wealthy old maid, 70 years old andnever married, she is a member of the Membership Committee of the Mission Club.
Gail Wren: A very wealthy lady of 84, she is a member of the Membership Committee of the Mission Club.
Jill Phillips: A 42-year-old mother of two teenagers, she is doing a three-year apprenticeship at the Hunt Club that would give her the six thousand hours of investigative work that she's need to quality for her PI license.
Bettina Keck: A black woman who was Wyatt Hunt's partner when he was a field-worker at Child Protective Services. She is now a deputy director.
Father Don Bernard: A Catholic priest in his mid to late seventies who knew Wyatt Hunt's birth parents. He lives at the rectory of Star of the Sea Church.
