Wow. Just wow. This book was just stunning! First off, look at the cover. It's so beautiful and I'd kill for a dress like that!
On to the story...
On the back of the book, there were 2 reviews from authors like Lauren Oliver. They both said how funny, sweet, gorgeous, and HEARTBREAKING this story is. And boy were they right!
Brie and Patrick were so love-able and just the perfect couple. This wasn't like other books where everything came easy to them and the guy was so handsome and mysterious and they had more of a physical chemistry than an emotional chemistry. No, this was kind of the complete opposite. You could sense how easy they were with each other and how much they cared for each other. The banter was pretty hilarious! Brie and Patrick have got to be the funniest people ever. There were just some moments that made me burst out laughing. Brie is pretty ridiculous. :)
Everything about this was so so so sweet. Some stuff were really cheesy. (Get it? Haha. You'll get it when you read it.)
And oh my gosh was there heartbreak. 100% amount of it. During the scene where she sacrificed her necklace, I just started crying and I didn't even realize it. The love that B&P have for each other is incredible.
The writing style was perfect. Everything blended together nicely and she made sure that we only knew what the main character knew. She captured the aftermath of death perfectly. The family falling apart, the friends supportive of her, everything. The twists too... Whew!
I'm rambling right now. Sorry. I just loved this book. I took away a star because I felt the author needed to work on the world development more. Otherwise, PERFECTO!!

(P.S. I'm sorry, Jacob, for misunderstanding you. I'm truly sorry.)
