If you like the Anita Blake series, you'd like this one. It's is very fast-paced, dramatic, and all around very well done.

What do you think of the heroine? Is she too "young"? When I picked this up to read the back, I was a little put off by her being a college kid. Okay, grad student, but still...is this following up on the success of YA paranormal books like "Twilight"? I just wanted to know what other readers' sense was about the book. There are some really great YA authors out there (Robin McKinley comes to mind), so I'm not down on YA, I promise! But I'm not sure I want to get into YA paranormal.
