Washington: Where Avery Daniels had worked prior to her job at KTEX/If Tate won the election, he'd live and work there.
Dallas: Where the crashed plane was heading. A large city where Carole intended to do some shopping and Avery had been sent to get a news story. This is where Avery spent most of her childhood years.
San Antonio: Where the airport was located here, where AireAmeria's Flight 398 crash-landed. The hospital where Avery was recuperating was here, too. Also, Tate's father's ranch, the Rocking R Ranch, was within an hour's drive.
Fort Worth: One of the rallies for Tate's election was held here. A woman in the audience acted blatantly sexual toward him.
Rocking R Ranch: The Rutledge ranch, more than 5000 acres and had a large herd of prime beef cattle. Two tributaries of the Grudalupe River and one from the Blanco provided it with water. The main house was Spanish style, white adobe with a red tile roof, with three wings forming a horseshoe around a central courtyard. A curving driveway and a stately oak tree and red geraniums decorated the front.Inside, it was comfortably and tastefully furnished. Its spacious rooms had high, beamed ceilings and wide windows.
Avery's room/ Tate's sleeping area: Spacious, with a king-size bed, flowery decor and a closet filled with Carole's fancy clothes. It had two large dressing areas connected by a wall of mirrors, a Roman tub and yards of plus carpeting. There was a connecting study containing a convertible sofa and a small bathroom with a tiny sink and a tiny shower.
Houston: One leg of one of the final campaign trips for Tate was held here. This, also, is where Dr. Webster's appointment for Mandy was held. From there the trip continued into El Paso, Odessa and other locations.
