Typically Max Lucado. detailed, inspirational, imaginative. He has the uncanny ability as a writer to transport the reader into another world or another time -- his mind.

This book makes it very clear that everything we say and do should be to the glory of God and not about ourselves. Even in sicknes we can glorify God with our faith and trust in Him. I'm sure I'll be reading it again soon....

Very good book about how we should humble ourselves and allow The Lord to watch over us

The first book by Pastor Lucado that I read. The book changed my life...literally. Skimming through the table of contents brought a shiver down my spine. The problem with today's Believer is that the spotlight far too often falls on us. We are not the way; we merely point to the Way. Our struggles, our salvation, our triumphs, and our trials - they are all about Him and never about us.

As what the title says... IT really is not about ME.

It's not about me shows a great perspective in life. It's not about me shows us that life isn't about us. Through this, we learn how to sacrifice ourselves. On the other hand, it also shows us that life isn't about other people as well. And because of this, we learn how to value and preserve ourselves for the One, whom everything is all about.
