“I am reviewing this book without having read the entire trilogy. I'm hoping that some of my issues will be resolved in the subsequent novels, but I strongly believe that each book should be able to stand alone.

This story of Christian and Ana is a very typical story of an innocent girl falling for a self-proclaimed dangerous man. Their story is very erotic and passionate, but really lacks a story arc. Any potential conflict is quickly resolved and usually leads to a very steamy love scene. The book ends with an unresolved issue, a "cliffhanger" if you will, requiring you to read the next book in the trilogy to get resolution. If you want an erotic read with a very thin storyline, this is your book. If you read a book and expect a story that continually moves forward, skip 50 Shades.”
