In my passionate pursuit of an art degree, I often wondered about the green fairy in France that so many of the famous painters and poets I admired would be seen drinking, and my burning curiosity was finally quenched when I had the good fortune of picking up this book. I must say that I imagine it must have been a joy for him to write, and it's a fascinating read.
