• Secret McQueen: Half werewolf, half vampire "bounty hunter" who works for the vampire council of New York City. 21 years old, 5'4" with blonde hair and brown eyes.
• Alexandre Peyton: First vampire master Secret battled. Knocked out one of his teeth but he lived. 300 plus years old, hair the color of rust, brown eyes, turned around the age of 17.
• Brigit Stewart: Slender and petite with blonde hair, blue eyes, and an unnatural tan.
• Calliope: AKA the Oracle. A ture immortal. Daughter of a fairy queen and a god. Looks like Marilyn Monroe with long smoky hair. Lives in a different dimention. Cares for sanctioned newborn vampires.
• Desmond Alvarez: Werewolf. Lucas's second. Brunet just over 6 feet tall, lean and has washed out violet eyes that usually look gray.
• Dominick: Werewolf. Lucas's bodyguard, Desmond's brother
• Francis Keats: AKA Keaty. Secret's business partner.Human. About forty, handsome with short blond hair.
• Holden Chancery: Secret's counsil liaison. Warden. Vampire, 5'10" lean, handsome, brunet with beautiful brown eyes and a killer sense of style. A little over 200 years old. Editor-at-large for GQ in the 80s.
• Lucas Rain: Werewolf. Close-cropped ash blond hair with radiant azure eyes, 26 years old, very handsome and over 6 feet tall. Werewold King of the East coast. Owns the Rain Hotel.
• Mercedes Castilla: Detective with the NYPD and friend of Secret. Mercedes does not like vampires. In her 30s she is half Puerto Rican. She has almost black eyes, dark hair curling with tight untamed coils and honey bronze skin.
• Henry Davies: Newborn rogue vampire.
• Sigvard: AKA Sig. Two-thousand-year-old Finnish master vampire. Turned Sept 9th in 9AD. Undisputed leader of the Tribunal. Most powerful vampire on the east coast. Gives Secret her assignments. Pale blond hair, ice blue eyes, pale, 6'6"
• Juan Carlos: On the Tribunal. Master Vampire.
• Daria: On the Tribunal. Master vampire.
• Gabriel Holbrook: Secret's ex boyfriend. Human. Dated for a year and lived together for 3 months.
• Carl: Door man at Rain Hotel.
• Melvin: Wereferret. Works at Rain hotel.
• Jeremiah Rain: Werewolf. Lucas's father. Deceased.
• Kellen Rain: Lucas's sister. Human.
• Cavanaughs: Werewolf family that rules the West coast.
• O'Shaughnessy: Werewolf family that rules the North.
• McQueens: Werewolf family that rules the South.
• Elmore McQueen: Werewolf. Secret's grandfather.
• Savannah McQueen: Secret's aunt.
• Mercy McQueen: Werewolf. Secret's mother.
• Grandmere: Witch. Secret's grandmother. Early 60's. Raised and named Secret.
• Sophia Sullivan: Werewolf. Lanky almost gawky, brunette. The alpha of Albany, New York's daughter.
• Marcus Sullivan: Werewolf. Alpha of Albany New York. Black hair and beard, graying.
• William Reilly: Werewolf. Secret killed for Marcus. Sophia's fiance.
• Genevieve Renard: Shifter. Ocelot Queen. Owner of Chameleon.
