  • Ben: A new Woods Hole colleagueFriend to Josie, a fellow Diver
  • Sarah: Wife of Ray Henderson, Mother to Josie and Edmund..aka Tick. A very pretty, well educated, intelligent Black women. Her profession is a RN with a specialty in Cardiac Care. Loving wife who eventually grows tired and becomes disappointed and broken
  • Tick: Josie's brotherAn NBA Trainer with haunting issues from his past and shame of his own life's mistakes. He struggles to find himself and to hold onto what he has left. He is probably a tad sensitive and deeply affected by the actions of others.
  • Beenie: Friend of Tick's. A Hustler/dealer
  • Natalie: College friend of Josie's who becomes a successful Lawyer and the 2 women share strong common bonds
  • Danny: Josie's husband. Also a scientist at Wood's Hole Institute. A loving supportive guy who is often blind sighted by the actions of or lack of emotions of his wife.
