A nostalgic trip to high school in the late '90's. In the book 2 students get to see the future (2011) and what their life could be like.

- Josh Templeton: Emma's child-hood friend, helps her install AOL. He is the only person that Emma tells about discovering Facebook. His Facebook says that he will marry Sydney Mills. He and Tyson are good friends and Josh often helps out at Josh's father's pizza shop, GoodTimez.
- Emma Nelson: She installs AOL on her home computer in 1996 and suddenly sees Facebook in 2011. She doesn't like the outlook so she keeps messing with her future.
