“I really liked it. Sure, the reader will figure out early on who Cinder really is...but it's interesting how the information unfolds for the characters. Be forewarned it ends with little resolution. A sequel is needed. That's too bad, I would have loved this if it was a complete story. Seems like...”see full review » see other reviews »
“3.5, actually. This was futuristic, and quite a few things were beyond my understanding. At the beginning, I was really interested in the story but toward the end, was glad it was ending. This is far from my favorite type of story, so it's not the author's fault.”Marie T wrote this review 14 hours ago. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“Futuristic version of Cinderella that hooked me right in initially and gave me high hopes for its outcome (especially with my love for redone fairy tales, robot stories, dystopian societies, etc) - but it quickly got drawn out and predictable. I spotted the huge "twist" everyone is raving about back in the 3rd chapter. I kind of want to read the other books to find out what happens, but just from the descriptions, I can tell it's going to be 2 more books of drawn out, slow action. I'll just wait until the inevitable movies are made. ”Melissa S wrote this review 6 days ago. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No

“Cinder is a very fantastic novel based on the ever so popular story cinderella. This is a book with androids and humans living together. The book cinder is about people trying to fight a terrible disease and also about lunar people watching earth.Cinder is a cyborg girl who works in a shop in New Bejing, and lives with her stepmother and stepsisters .Cinder unfolds secrets about her past life, and falls in love with prince Kai of new bejing. cinder plots a plan to finish the queen of lunars at prince Kai's ball. The idea behind this book is about a lost princess in the lunar universe, and at the same time cinder is trying to defeat the lunar queen. I rated this 5 stars because it has adventure and romance, but also at the same time it has mystery to.The book is very good and it think you should read it.”mehakdeep kainth wrote this review 2 weeks ago.
