“This was okay. It's a Christian mystery, which is okay, but sadly my experience is Christian writing usually isn't that intelligent. I kept being bothered by things that weren't very realistic from the access the public library has to police databases, to the hope Blair has for getting another librarian job in Colorado with no college degree at all (I'm a librarian), to the injuries the Sadie gets and how little they cost to fix, an otherwise compassionate police officer dropping her off at the doctor then not doing anything else for her until others take her in... Compared to the really good mysteries I've been listening to, this one was kind of flat. I enjoyed it, but found many little irritating things in it.”
