“This book will make you physically sick. It goes in depth into the life of a drug addict and the world of drug addiction. Some parts were illicit but overall it gives compelling reasons to never even touch drugs. ”

“the fact that this guy came off of drugs and his addictions after he was so deeply snared into that world, well, it just makes me feel empowered. I mean, if he can come out of something as terrible as that, it makes me feel like i can do anything. that, and i knocked off that last star because of the language and stuff. idk, it was true story, so why hide the reality behind it or buff out the rough spots? that's what makes books like these so interesting; because they're true, no deleted scenes, no edits, just the raw, real story.”

“Terrifying. Terrific. Shatteringly real. This addict portrayed his experiences in such a heart-beating, adrenaline-pumping memoir. Suck me in and spat me out. Changed my view on addicts and their struggles (to get clean).

“Presently, I am about half way through the book. It has been an interesting read- learning about the life of an addict and seeing life through his eyes. I find it has been challenging keeping track of the plot since the author frequently has flashbacks to his childhood or earlier years of addicition. The author also uses a lot of "street" terms or names for drugs and paraphernalia; which at times can make it difficult to understand what is happening. ”
