“Say Goodnight, Gracie is a great book to read. It is a quick read about a girl who is going through alot of stress dealing with death. Morgan is the girl who has to cope with her dearest friend or what could be her lover death from a car accident. Morgan characteristic really stand out and is clearly described. She is a teen in high school who really is inspired and determine. When the death happen her life greatly change. Morgan shows courage and will to continue in life after his death. She felt numb at first but really got a hard impact when it caught up to her. This book is a neat story how there is alot of flash back of the good memories of the two. What really got me interested in this book was that the boy that she love and friend was named Jimmy!”

It shows how teenagers think when they are doing something. My favorite scene in this book is when Morgan and her dad are talking in her room; she is still depressed so her dad is trying to get her out of it. Morgan finally gave up and yelled at her dad "You want to know how I really feel? I feel dead inside, okay. I wish I had been killed instead of Jimmy." I like this scene because it finally shows how she is feeling and she isn't keeping it away from her parents. this was the first part of getting her out of her depression. This is a great book if you like to cry. This book will make you cry even if know what is coming. You see how Morgan handle her best friend’s death and it makes you want to cry.”

Jimmy and Morgan have been friends all of their lives. After seventeen years of friendship, the two know everything about each other. There is no one in the world that knows as much about Morgan as Jimmy does. He knows how to calm her, how to make her brave, and how to make her laugh.
But after Jimmy is killed in a car crash, Morgan has a big void in her life -- one that used to be occupied by Jimmy's friendship.
The road to recovery is hard for Morgan. She doesn't know how she can live without Jimmy, this constant she's had her whole life. With the help of her parents, her aunt, Jimmy's parents, and a school friend, Morgan finally comes to cope with Jimmy's death.
Julie Reece Deaver writes a very touching story about losing a best friend. While hopefully readers never have to relate to this event, nevertheless, it is very touching and helps readers understand the importance of friendship and love.
SAY GOODNIGHT, GRACIE is a story to stay with readers for a lifetime. ”
“So sad! Such a great book!”

This isnt a sugar coated story, but more of this is what really happens when you lose someone you love. This could be a prequel to 'The Night I Disappeared'.”
