Liked It“One word--FANTASTIC! |
Didn’t Like It“It was a quick read. Only 100 pages. It just had no "meat" for me. If I were to meet Jesus I see it going much differently. I just wish it was more personal. It didn't do anything for me.” see full review » see other reviews » |
“A short fiction work (100 pages) answering the question of what you would do if you received an invitation to have dinner with Jesus Christ. Would you go? What questions would you ask? The theology tend to lean toward the conservative viewpoint but the author's viewpoint isn't too extreme.”

I own the book and the movie. I could read/watch it a hundred times and never grow bored. It will make you realize what an AWESOME God we have!”

What questions would you ask Jesus over dinner? It is an easy read and makes you think.. You find yourself saying "oh yes, that's a good question, ask him-- ask him-- " I read it and passed it on to a friend..”

What prose is scarce on detail is filled with conversation. Jesus presents himself with sincerity and without miracles, wanting Nick to return to God through him. A very light version of Christianity topics.
I may not agree with all that David Gregory expressed (especially how briefly he tosses other religions), but I understand why so many people really enjoyed Dinner. It would be lovely to see, hear, and speak to the real Jesus.”
