Very good book. The main character, Ethan, is dragged all over the place in it. Most of the story is spent with Ethan trying to help his mother and father get out of their own respective problems. Not small problems either. When Ethan isn't helping engineer his parents escape from various catastrophes he is trying to survive the day at his job, where he is part of a group that programs video games. The author comes from a computer programming/ technology background and much of the book...

Didn’t Like It

I did not like this book. This book did not make me want to read anything else by Douglas Copeland. This book made me glad that I don't have discussions like the characters in "jPod." This book was loaned from a friend so I read it. He did a bad job with his recommendation.

I've waited to write this because all of my friends that have read "jPod" enjoyed every bit of it. From the 20 pages of Pi to the pages with five words in 40 point font, the conversations about fast food, Atari...
