- Cassiel: aka "Cassie"; he is a Djinn exiled to human form for not heeding the order of the Djinn Ashan to destroy humanity in order to save the world from another former Djinn named Pearl. To survive she must maintain a connection to a Warden lest she starve.
- Luis Rocha: Earth and Fire Warden and Uncle of Isabel (aka "Iz" or "Ibby"). He maintains a connection to Cassiel (aka "Cassie") in order for her to survive.
- Isabel: aka "Iz" or "Ibby"; she is the niece of Luis Rocha. She was kidnapped by the former Djinn Pearl and her Warden powers were forced upon her at a very young age. She is both an Earth and Fire Warden.
- Esmeralda: aka "Es" or "Snake Girl"; she is a former Warden who perverted her powers and killed a Djinn who then sealed her into the body she inhabited in that moment. Her upper half is female and her lower half is a giant snake.
