Tathan of the Shadows: He was a tall man in his late twenties. Black hair framed a face tanned from travel. Tathan’s eyes were grey and studied the valley like a hawk. A small ruby tipped an eyebrow piercing while golden earrings hung from his ears in the style found among the cities of the world. He wore dark leather clothing, which fit tightly, making little noise. His hand was constantly on the hilt of the thin, slightly curved sword sheathed at his waist. He was tall, thin and moved much like a panther gliding over the grass. Some had underestimated his strength in the past for he was not built as a brawler but his true abilities were his speed and stealth.
Liselle, Child of Flowers: She was well prepared for the road with woolen leggings and a tunic died green. He had been surprised to find out that she had made them. They were better than most clothing that was found in shops throughout the countries he had traveled. There was also a wool lined, hooded leather jacket, which would keep her warm and protect her from rain and snow. The jacket was off as it was not needed in the warm air, but it was ready at the back of the saddle in the likelihood that it would rain that afternoon. She undid the ponytail in her dark curly hair and sat down on a fallen log to braid it.
Vevin: Appears as a thin, young man. His hair was a metallic purple color and his skin was an odd sort of cream color tinged with more purple. The leggings and vest that he wore were purple with gold filigree throughout. His feet were bare as was his chest underneath the unclasped vest. His eyes were liquid silver with no pupils or irises. They were large and glowed with an eerie light. He had a wide grin with sharp, intimidating teeth. But out of all that was odd about this creature, the fact that he was hopping from one foot to the other in a funny sort of dance was the strangest. It was a happy dance. He would hop twice on one foot and then twice on the other foot, then he would do a spin, moving his shoulders up and down in time with some completely unknown music that only he could hear.A long, deep gash along the left side of his face from the bottom of his chin to the top of his head. It looked as though it was beginning to heal, but it was a very serious wound.
Mother Tree: His plate mail was dark black which seemed to absorb the light. Liselle’s blue flame illuminated nearly invisible runes that ran throughout the armor. The sword had runes running down the center of it. There were etchings of flames running along the blade as well. A red cloak flowing down the figure’s back was attached to a clasp around the front of the armor. His visor was down and they could see nothing of the figure inside. His voice was deep and clearer than one would imagine coming out of a suit of armor. There was a metallic tint to it but it wasn’t heavy. The sword was as tall as the knight from the bottom of the hilt to the tip of the blade.
Anilyia: She was about twenty years of age, old for an unmarried princess. She was five foot five with an olive complexion, her hair was platinum blond and her eyes were brilliant blue. Her waist-long platinum hair was down and it swayed appealingly in time with the rest of her lovely body as she walked. She was beautiful, one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen. It was a rare hair type that only a few people from Mayncal had, usually indicating someone who was blessed or touched by the gods. Her face was perfect in every way, with smooth skin and perfect eyebrows as platinum as her hair.
““Well, you can’t do much with a princess, can you? They can’t become king, they throw temper tantrums, they get picky about which prince to marry, and they’re always going about getting kidnapped, all of which is extremely inconvenient.””
