The imagery in this novel was amazing and touching. It's a book you get a little more out of each time you read it.

This book is an incredibly powerful story of betrayal and redemption. Can redemption after such a personal and devastating betrayal ever be complete?

Its engrossing and kept you clinched to the book till you finish it. This books gives you insight about what went wrong in Afganistan and make you wonder what would be the present situation out there. After reading this I thanked GOD that I am not a native of disturbed nation like Afganistan and staying here in the comfort of Indian democracy.
