A one-sit down read, and not very fancy, but tons of information. Lots of little "huh's", and a basic education in marketing in about two hours. What more could you ask?

    I had read wife's copy of this a while ago. Marketing spelt out as easily and clearly as possible, with easy to understand concept. Biggest takeway: "Be first in any and every market segment

    A good overview of fundamental marketing strategies that are somewhat easy to implement. The book is somewhat dated at this point, so while the content is good, many of the examples are old. I'd love to see an updated version of this.

    Sheer wisdom. Amongst a pile of books which scream out of shelves titled "Management" in bookstores, pick this up, if you haven't till now.
    This book is a must not only for marketing professionals but for every individual in a competitive world. Although backed largely by
    empirical data from the late twentieth century American corporate landscape, the laws will be robust through time and space !

    A fast read, with plenty of bright ideas. Some are obvious, and thus reinforced, while others are new. A worthwhile read for anyone involved in business.
