“Thriller with twists and turns. I admit this book surprised me when I least expected it. I give it a rating of three. Not bad but not great!!”

The plot starts out on the 1st page and continues to build throughout the book. There were so many twists and turns in this book and that is what kept my interest. It was scary and hard for me to put down. I loved this read and would reccomend it to all mystery lovers.”

Interesting that the author is a pediatrician. I downloaded it as one of my first Kindle books because it was free or cheap, and then read it because I had it. Action novel set in a small town, with larger Mafia connections. The characters didn't feel well rounded to me, and for instance, Hal, the local sheriff, seems like a good guy at first, then turns ugly. It kept my interest, but I had to overlook incomplete details sometimes. ”
