I really, really loved this book. I have never known an ordained minister to be as earthy and human as this, in her memoirs of becoming a minister and then pastoring a church. Since we have been attending a United Methodist Church which we have grown to love (and which is pastored by a husband and wife who are both ordained), I’ve been reading some doctrinal books and happened to stumble across this book by a female minister who pastored a church.
