A giant, a classic. Worth getting through. Relevant to today just as much as when it was written.

A book dressed up in philosophical jargon of the usual kind, just different words. It is good to have Utopic fantasies. Everyone must have a dream.

There are some holes in Rawls thought, or at least room for questioning, but he is foremost in his field and this book is rich with his genius.

The best attempt to ground a political theory in a Kantian ftamework. I do not think such a project can succeed. But this is a monumental book.
