Solid debut novel. Thin characterization, made up for a bit by an engrossing storyline. An evolution, rather than inheritance, of the cyberpunk sub-genre drawing largely on tech familiar now, such as the internet, virtual reality, social medias, etc, and combining them with the corporate world's at best borderline notion of ethics.
Solid, enjoyable. Look forward to the rest of the series.
