Siri Mitchell transports you to France in this novel. From her detailed descriptions of the city to her clever dialog, she creates a story that cannot be devoured. Instead, you must savor the words. I found myself enjoying the absence of active romantic pursuit by the main characters because it tantilized my imagination and left me anticipating something better and more satisfying.
