“I can't quite decide if I really wanted to like this book--and just didn't quite as much as I wanted ... or if I was determined to find fault with it, and liked it more than I meant to. either way, it was certainly a mixed listen for me. Read by the author, and boy, does she ever nail the variety of Southern accents you'll hear in a small Georgia town on any given day. This is a refreshing change from the usual Hollywood/audiobook approach to "the one generic Southern accent."”
