This is well worth reading. It is a factual account of the rescue of Americans from Iran right after the Shah left Iran and a few months prior to when Americans where taken hostage for over 1 year prior to 1980. It also gives insight to some of the Middle East issues.

A true story of high corporate brass (Ross Perot) leading a rescue of businessmen in Tehran. I prefer Follett's fiction, but still found this book fascinating if for no other reason than that it chronicles a true-life "Mission: Impossible."

Now why didn't America make Ross Perot president? Businessmen do make good, inspiring leaders.

One of the best book that I have read in recent past. The book was gifted to me by my daughter Ashu.Ken Follet should write only true stories like this one.

Really good book especially if you were a political fan of Ross Perot.
