Didn’t Like It

this author doesn't know how to build up rising actions. the first half was just typical teenage drama and I couldn't even get past that.

I liked a lot of the concepts, but it took me a while to get into, and I wish the characters had been developed more before the end.

i don't know if i liked it or not .... i started off not liking it at all, but I think that was just some preconceptions i had about it .... but anyway ... it took like half the book to get good ... i didn't know what was going on until page 2**, man ... the first half was just stupid teenage drama, until the tunnels stuff.
But that being all said, i think i would read the second one, if there is one. The characters were a bore - they were so predictable - except for Morgan ... i think I'll read the second one, just for her.

This book started with a lot of promise, but as I read more I realized that I had no clue what was happening half the time. I'm not sure if it was meant to be part of the book's personality or if the author herself really didn't know either, but it left me a little less than satisfied with it as a whole.

I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. Speed is really important for me in books. And this one went by really slow, it was very dull the first 100 pages, and even after that the voice didn't really appeal to me. But over all it was an alright book.

Morgan D'Amici, Ondine Mason and Nix Saint-Michael are special species called the changelings. They are spirits that takes form in humans and would live till seventeen before they start to age faster than normal people. They would then go through a ritual where few would be chosen to join other changelings at another world. When a changeling decides to leave its circle, it becomes a cutter, who would encourage other changelings to leave too. This is book is confusing, as all the charcters were linked to one another, and details would get confused or would not make sense.

I found it hard to understand what was going on in this book sometimes. I still don't really get it.
