“I had a difficult time getting into this book at first and almost put it down. However it was a good book looking back on it. The main character is an Asian girl from a very wealthy family who loves to snow board but blew out her knee and was trapped in an avalanche. She uses manga to try and work through what caused her to take the reckless trip that resulted in her accident as well as the difficult relationship she has with her family. She learns by the end of the book how to stand up for what she wants and look more carefully at things.”
