“Ashfall is a wonderful book and I was excited that its sequel will come out sometime this month. The ending was a cliff hanger leaving you not knowing what to expect, so when I turned the page I expected to see another chapter, not a note from the editor, it was kind of depressing. Ashfall is about a boy who is trying to find his family after they left to visit their uncle's and he stayed home. Not long after they left, his house came crashing down due to a volcano explosion. This explosion made a lot of noise and left more than a foot of ash falling for days. He wondered through the ash and snow trying to find his family, 140 miles away. This book was a good narration and I was able to picture everything that was happening. It was gory at times, but then was also cute at times. ”
I did find it pretty predictable, but still a good read. What did you think of the dialogue?
