Just have to admire what a strong woman she had become. After being in prison for 20 years, having to start living again from the beginning, she was able to find herself.

Unlike Stolen Lives, Freedom made me feel that I’m reading an autobiography, as Stolen Lives was far more shocking that it seemed like some sort of fiction! Not as powerful, yet Freedom will make you realize how precious are the routine details of your day =)

I haven't yet read the first book, but don't think I really needed to. She brings up an interesting and thought-provoking point of view. She's very open. I must admit I was expecting more.

A very honest journey in adjusting after 20 years in prison.
