I really enjoyed this book. 26 year old Nicci doesn't love her job. She grew up an MK (missionary kid), moving around, but spending much time in the Phillipines. When her parents return to the states to live, Nicci was already out of the house so has never had a real home. She chooses Boston to live in, about as far off from the Phillipines as you can get. A co-worker keeps fixing her up with men but none click. She prefers to sit home and watch Jackie Chan movies and learn from the philosophy in the movies. She begins dating a client, has a chance meeting in a local coffee house with a man, and her best friend (another MK) makes a life changing decision, all leaving Nicci thinking about her own life. Fast read, good characters. Totally enjoyed it.

A feel good book. A quick and easy read and humerous at times. Worth a read.

Started off a little weird but once you get into it, it is a really great story about life and appreciating things the small things

This book was a quick and easy read. I have to admit I am a sucker for melancholic writing so it seemed my cup of tea... or coffee (ha-ha).

Overall, I thought the story was quite predictable and a little silly. The question becomes would I recommend it to people to read? Probably not. Just depends on their taste. Let just say it wasn't a "Best Seller" for a reason.
