I read this book with my daughter, and we loved exploring the beginnings of the land of Narnia together. It was fun to learn more about Aslan, and the beginning of the White Witch. This is a wonderful book.

Everyone should start the Narnia series with this book. It's just as wonderfully written as the others, and it's very cool to see the birth of Narnia and how everything came to be. For Christian readers, Lewis also shows his incredible (and enviable) understanding of God's character in this book just as he does in all the others. Such a sweet and moving story!

I thought it was a very interesting prequel to The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.

THIS IS NOT BOOK 1! FACE IT!

This is book 6. If you don't read the books in the order they were written, then they don't make good sense.

This is one of my favorite CS Lewis books, because of the wood between the worlds, and the walkway behind the townhouses. Who doesn't want to be able to go to new places through a secret passageway?

I think that the Magicians nephew is a very good book. It didn't catch your attention right away, but was still a very good book. It is about two children who descover a new world by using a ring. I enjoyed this book very much, while sitting in bed with only the light of my lamp. C.S. Lewis is oneof my favorite authers, and I enjoy manny of his books. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have.

One of my favorite childhood books!, I read the lion the witch and the wardrobe first, before i heard it was a series ( i was a little kid kay) but any who, i read that first, which i think only made me love this book all the more, because it was really intreresting to see how Narnia came to be, and how certain charcetrs became who they are today. Its a classic and a must read!!!!
