“Set during the reign of the High King Peter, meet Shasta, a young slave thinking he is the son of a tempered fisherman. One day, Shasta meets a talking horse named Bree, that had been captured as a young colt from the lands of the North, the lands that they both have so eagerly longed to go where the sweet air and freedom awaits them. And so, that night they escape, and meet another pair, escaping also into the lands of the North. Unfortunately, neither Shasta nor the owner of the other horse like each other, and they need to work together to escape to freedom.
In the end, Shasta finds out he is a prince, a twin to the prince of the Archenland (the land that separates Calormen and Narnia), and is next in line to be King.
