“We watched the movie this week, so I had to go back and re-read the book. Although the story line in the movie is slightly different than the book, they are both great and tell the story of Andrew Martin, constructed as a robot but dying as a man.”

I haven't read them all yet but I have read Bicentennial Man and enjoyed it immensly. Anyone who sees the movie before reading this book, like me, please note that the story is not quite as romanticized as the movie. The original is much more political but just as sad and just as good.”

a creature that doesn't have a soul , a mechanic metal, struggled for 200 years to become an organic living being.
and all those memories. a being who experienced everything. why did he struggled so hard to become a mortal human?
what would you say about him if you were GOD?
what is so important about humans?”
“a really touching story.”
