Didn’t Like It Rated 2 stars “A fun story line and a clean romance were not enough for me in this historical romance. I just couldn't get past the author's writing style: fingers became appendages, spitting became ejecting, the formatting of the dialogue grated on my nerves, and the whole thing felt too melodramatic for me....” see full review » see other reviews »

  “Kudos to the historical elements in the story line. You could tell that the author actually took the time to research the subject matter. Some of the romantic scenes were a bit racy (for Christian fiction, that is), but overall, it was a decent read. ”

  “great story. not what I would usually pick out, but I enjoyed the story. Early colonial setting, frontier in America, purchased bride... but she wasn't supposed to be "up for sale". great plot. I could see this becoming a movie.”
