I have to admit, this was better than the last one, and probably as good as the first one. This book was better written and easy to understand. The only criticism I have is the romance, especially between Margo Green and Smithback seems forced. I understand that it is not a romance novel, but why throw it in there if it is not going to be smooth and believable. Anyway, I do love the fact that everything is explained (although I am not sure I still understance WHAT Constance Green...

I am a little more than halfway through the book and thus far I am thrilled. I love my home, NY, which I am 6,878 miles away from. The Museum of Natural History is my fav in the city and I have always appreciated Egypt and anything Egyptian. Any recommendations for the next book I should tackle by this duo?

I think katamaster meant to say (Dance of Death), not Game of Death. The book that got me started was Relic, and I have since read all the following books. And just finished The Wheel of Darkness. As with all the books, with a few exceptions, it started out slowly, but builds up to a truely gripping story. One that, once you get to the good stuff, you just can't put it down.
I have found these two authors to be an excellent match, and they are impressive considering they live on different ends of the continent.
