“Not as engaging as the first two books. However we find ourselves going deeper into the world of the dark and the mind of Sarafine. Another cliff hanger ending left be buying the next book as soon as this one was finished. ”Robin M wrote this review Sunday, April 7, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No

“Great read! Either it got a little slow toward the end or I was being impatient to find out what happened next! LOL Quite an enjoyable read :)”RUCA66 wrote this review Monday, April 1, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“Lena's visions are being controlled by Macon, and he's trying to tell her something. This book wasn't very good, the first two were great but her writing becomes slow and it begins to remind me of twilight.”sydney loves schnoodles wrote this review Monday, April 1, 2013. “Beautiful Chaos by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl is a very detailed book. You can visualize everything that happens in the book. You can tell how each character feels when a big event happens”Shelby B wrote this review Sunday, March 31, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“Story is again predictable, but very touching at moments. Trying not to judge book harshly and to remember it's a YA selection.”Isabeau wrote this review Friday, March 29, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No

“Ethan hated Gatlin, he thought it was boring and wanted out so badly. Now Ethan wishes for the Gatlin he knows to return. The Mortal and Caster Worlds are seeping into each other and making life miserable for both Mortal and Caster alike. Life in Gatlin is like the end of days, the things that are happening are making Mrs. Lincoln seem like a prophet.
Things can't seem to get better for Ethan, in fact things are getting worse. When you can't even remember which hand you write with, or are being chased by an unknown figure; how can you have a normal life with the girlfriend you can't touch without losing your breath?
Ethan being the wayward has to find the solution to create a new order after Lena broke the last one when she split her seventeenth moon. Ethan, with the help of his Caster, Keeper, ex-Keeper, Incubus, Seer, and Linkubus, friends work together to bring order back to the mortal and caster worlds and the adventure and action began.
I really love this series and continue to be amazed by the story and settings. I'm mesmerized by the fantastical backdrops, whether creepy sounding or magically beautiful. The crazy but lovable sisters are still making me laugh. I wonder if I could find a Gatlin Scrabble Dictionary in the library? LOL. There was also sadness in this installment of the Caster Chronicles, with more visions, death, and sacrifices.
Ethan is a very calming protagonist to hear from, I really do enjoy hearing his voice and feel very peaceful and not wanting to tear my hair out listening to his musings and I know a lot about the folks of Gatlin through his eyes. Can't wait to see how his and the rest of the Gatliners story ends.
Trust me, there is so, so, so, much more happening in Beautiful Chaos than you can imagine. ”
“516 pages; Beautiful Chaos picks up where Beautiful Darkness ended with things in Gatlin falling apart. Record heat temperatures, bugs, and strange weather conditions have the townspeople predicting the end of the world. Ethan, Lena, and the rest of the cast attempt to find out how to right what has been done at the end of Book 2 and put their world back together. More is revealed of the end game and Caster history throughout the story. What the characters don't realize is the sacrifice that must be paid to put things back in order. I did NOT see the ending of Book 3 coming! I will say that these books are getting progressively weirder as the series rolls on. I can handle quite a bit, and some of the things that happened in Book 3 were even outside of my comfort zone. In any case, very excited to see where the authors take the rest of the series! And I will say it is important to read these close together, as they very much build on one another! ”Erin wrote this review Monday, March 25, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful?
